Get the VIP PassIn this workshop I want to teach you how to hook rugs and create a small landscape rug. We will explore the history and tradition of rug hooking, look at contemporary ideas for rug hooking, over coming common mistakes and lastly, take a tour of my beautiful studio.
Materials
- Rug hook: You could use a crochet hook if a rug hook isn't available.
- Linen or burlap backing. (14" x 14")
- Materials to hook with such as yarn or wool cloth. (If you wish you can use
old t-shirts however, I prefer wool yarn or cloth) - Scissors
- Colour theme for this project is reds, golds, greens, cream and sky blue
